They told me I couldn't. So... you know I did.
Have you ever been the underdog? I have. Still am, honestly. From being bullied at school to not fitting into a (beauty) industry that was overly feminized, the concept of Knockout Beauty has been many, many years in the making. In fact, it probably started long before I even realized it.
Knockout is all about being yourself, whether that means rolling out of bed in your sweatpants for your beauty service or coming straight from the office, everyone is welcome here. Everyone. Because I know what it's like to feel less than. (I also know what it's like to fall victim to the over-tweezed, pencil-thin brow trends of the 90's too—but that's another story for another day.)
My superpower is helping women and men feel empowered. I am often told that people leave my studio feeling not only beautiful, but strong—that's everything to me.
The best compliment I can ever receive is when someone tells me I've made them feel beautiful or taken away their biggest insecurity about themselves. The cherry on top? When a loved one, significant other, or spouse is just as blown away because... well, they know you the best.
So! Gimme your baggage, your insecurities, and that beauty wishlist of yours, and prepare to be seen, educated, cared for, and transformed. Oh! And if you have fur-babies at home you better believe I'm going to ask for some photos. Have 'em at the ready. I have a rescue pup, named after thee Iron Mike Tyson.
Straight talk, spontaneity, strong drinks, kindness, curing cancer, and doing most (or all!) of the things you fear.
Bullies—period. I'm always the first one to speak up for those without a voice. Try me.
Crushing tacos, eating candy, and at the gym. (I know, it's a weird mix!) Oh, and empowering my rad clients.
Cuddling my adorable rescue dog (Tyson), coffee, and texting friends I'm 'almost there' when I just walked out the door. #OOPS

The Beach! It's truly my happy place. Being around water feels like home.
Binge-buying beauty products. I'm that girl who will drop $65 on a palette when I probably need it for gas and food. #YOLO.
